Works on a second monitor, a TV or a tablet used as a display.

The REAPER vocal-recording workflow

Step 1

Add as a track FX

Open the FX window on the vocal track and add LyricsRunnerVST. It passes audio through, so chain order does not matter.

Step 2

Paste the lyrics

Paste your text, set the start marker at the first sung word, and pick a font size readable from the mic position.

Step 3

Use REAPER regions

Blank lines in your lyric sheet mirror your region layout, keeping verses and choruses visually separate while scrolling.

Step 4

Float to a second monitor

REAPER's floating FX windows can live on any display and are recalled with the project.
