Scrolling lyrics insideNuendo

Nuendo rooms record more than music — dialogue, ADR, narration and songs, often in the same week. LyricsRunnerVST gives the person at the microphone a scrolling script or lyric sheet that follows the Nuendo timeline exactly.

Good to know

  • Works in Nuendo 11, 12, 13 and 14 as VST3.
  • Useful for ADR, narration and audiobook work as well as music vocals.
  • Everything is stored in the project — no external lyric files to chase.
Works on a second monitor, a TV or a tablet used as a display.

The Nuendo vocal-recording workflow

Step 1

Insert it where it suits you

Put it on the talent's channel or on a spare track — it is audio-transparent either way.

Step 2

Load the script or lyrics

Paste the text, then raise the font until it reads comfortably from the talent's position in the booth.

Step 3

Anchor it to picture or bar one

Set the start marker at the first spoken or sung word. From there the scroll tracks the Nuendo playhead, including scrubbing and loop passes.

Step 4

Feed the booth display

Move the window to the monitor facing the talent. Nuendo stores the position with the project, so tomorrow's session opens the same way.

Nuendo FAQ

Can I use LyricsRunnerVST for ADR or narration in Nuendo?

Yes. Paste the script instead of lyrics and set the start marker where the read begins. The scroll follows the Nuendo timeline, which suits long-form reads well.

Does it work with the Nuendo video engine running?

It does. The plugin only reads transport position, so it sits happily alongside video playback.

Is the licence the same as the Cubase version?

Yes — one licence, one plugin, and it loads in both Cubase and Nuendo.
