Install it in Logic Pro

Plugin folder: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3

The Logic Pro vocal-recording workflow

Step 1

Load it on the vocal channel strip

Click an empty Audio FX slot on the vocal track and choose LyricsRunnerVST. Audio passes through transparently, so it can sit before or after your vocal chain.

Step 2

Paste lyrics, set the first line

Paste your lyric sheet and mark where the first line lands on the timeline. Logic's tempo map drives the scroll, so tempo changes stay in sync.

Step 3

Full-screen it for the vocalist

Resize the window and drag it to a second display, an iPad used as a screen, or a TV in the live room. Text auto-rescales to fill whatever size you choose.

Step 4

Save it with the project

Logic stores the plugin state in the project file, so re-opening the song two months later brings back the same lyrics, font and colours.
