This free web tool scrolls on a timer. LyricsRunnerVST is a VST3 plugin that scrolls your lyrics in perfect sync with the playhead in Cubase, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Pro Tools, FL Studio, Studio One, REAPER and Cakewalk — so the singer always reads the next line at exactly the right moment.
Choose an audio file from your computer — it is read locally and never uploaded. Paste your lyrics with one line per lyric line, exactly as you want them to appear.
Press play and tap Stamp the instant each line begins. The tool records the playback time and attaches it to the next unstamped line. If you are late or early, hit Undo and stamp again.
When you reach the end, download the .lrc file. Most players (and karaoke or lyric-video apps) will pick it up automatically if you keep it next to the audio file with the same name.
An LRC file is great for playback: karaoke, streaming players and lyric videos. It is not much help while you are actually recording, because your DAW does not read LRC and your lyrics change between takes.
