Remote sessions fall apart over small mismatches. A lyric revision that only one side received turns into a confusing twenty minutes before anyone works out that the two rooms are looking at different words.
Storing the sheet in the project makes the lyrics part of the session rather than an attachment to it. When the project travels, the words travel with it, at the right point on the timeline.
