Why not just share a Google Doc with the lyrics?
A shared doc is excellent for writing and editing lyrics and useless for performing them. It does not scroll with the song, it can be edited mid-take by accident, and on a slow connection it reflows at the worst possible moment. Write in the doc, perform from the plugin.
Collaborative editing, comments and version history are exactly what you want while the lyric is still moving. None of that helps a singer standing at a microphone with headphones on.
The failure mode is specific and common: someone leaves the cursor in the document, the page scrolls, and the singer loses their place halfway through a chorus.
No card required. Install the VST3, paste a lyric sheet, and record one take end to end before you decide.
Plain text comes across cleanly. Strip chord lines and section numbering first so the singer is not reading them at speed.
Edit in the plugin window and save the project. The change is stored with the session rather than in a separate file.
